Sideshow is an artist-led initiative developed to coincide with The British Art Show 6 that will be coming to Nottingham for the first time in April 2006.
Sideshow is an event with a distinctive regional flavour that will bring together the very best artists, curators, studio groups, networks and artist-led initiatives regionally, nationally and internationally to ensure a diverse, innovative and inspiring festival of contemporary art.

Sideshow recognises that the work of young and emerging artists is diverse in both its materials and it’s manifestation and will support a full range of contemporary arts activity. Sideshow is not isolated to gallery or physical venues and will happen in many varied and unusual venues and sites throughout the region so that wherever you go from 21 April, Sideshow will be with you…..
